Field Results

The Numbers Don't Lie

Bio-Excell has been tested side-by-side against untreated checks across multiple farms, soil types, and growing seasons. Here's what we've seen.

5.6Bu/Ac
Average corn yield increase
Average across all documented corn trials (2022–2026)
4.2Bu/Ac
Average soybean yield increase
Average across all documented soybean trials (2022–2026)

Consistent Yield Gains Across Multiple Seasons

Field trials are the only honest measure of a crop input. Bio-Excell has been evaluated in replicated strip trials and on-farm comparisons across the Midwest. The results are consistent: treated acres yield more than untreated checks, and the return on investment is positive in every documented trial.

2026 Corn:Planter box treatment applied at planting. Treated plots showed stronger early root development and improved standability through a dry stretch in late June.
2026 Soybeans:Good growing season with adequate moisture. Treated plots showed improved canopy closure and pod set across all replications.
2025 Corn:Consistent yield advantage across all replications. Treated plots showed better root mass at V6 and maintained the advantage through grain fill.
2025 Soybeans:Lighter soils with lower organic matter. Bio-Excell's biological package showed strong benefit in this environment, consistent with prior years on similar ground.
2024 Corn:Dry conditions mid-July. Treated plots showed better standability and faster recovery after heat stress event.
2024 Soybeans:Average rainfall season. Treated plots showed improved canopy closure and pod fill.
2023 Corn:Good growing season. Consistent yield advantage across all replications.
2023 Soybeans:Lighter soils with lower organic matter. Bio-Excell's humic acid component showed notable benefit in this environment.
2022 Corn:Wet spring delayed planting. Treated plots established faster and showed better early-season vigor.
From the Field

What Farmers Are Saying

"I was skeptical at first — I've tried a lot of biologicals that didn't pan out. But I ran Bio-Excell on half my corn acres last year and the treated side was consistently better at harvest. I'm putting it on everything this year."

Mike R.
Central Illinois·1,800 acres
+5.8 Bu/Ac corn

"The ROI is what sold me. Chad walked me through the numbers before I bought it, and the results matched what he said. My beans were noticeably better in the treated strips — better canopy, better pod set."

Dave K.
Northern Indiana·900 acres
+4.1 Bu/Ac soybeans

"We had a tough stretch in July — hot and dry right through pollination. The Bio-Excell acres held up better than the check strips. I don't know if I can prove it was the product, but the yield maps tell a pretty clear story."

Tom S.
West-Central Iowa·2,200 acres
+5.3 Bu/Ac corn

How We Run Our Trials

All Bio-Excell field trials are conducted as replicated strip trials with untreated check strips run side-by-side under identical management (same hybrid/variety, same fertility, same crop protection). Yield data is collected at harvest using calibrated yield monitors. We don't cherry-pick results — every documented trial is included in our averages, including years where the advantage was smaller than expected.

  • Replicated strip trial design with untreated checks
  • Identical management on treated and untreated strips
  • Calibrated yield monitor data collection
  • All documented trials included in averages
